OGE Vision Science Course: From Theory to Practice
This is an online course that Dr. Shaiyan Keshvari and I developed for Oxford Global. This course presents fundamental topics in vision science to undergraduate and graduate students coming from a diverse engineering background. This course aims to foster interdisciplinary thinking and to inspire students to identify connections between biological systems and technological designs.
My module illustrates the fundamental ideas in James J Gibson's ecological approach to visual perception and their connections to modern technologies, such as computer vision algorithms and virtual reality.
OGE Machine Learning for Socially-Driven Technological Innovation
This is an online course that Oxford Global and I developed. This course presents various topics in machine learning to students coming from diverse fields, such as business, mechanical engineering, and automation. The objective of this course is to foster students' problem-solving ability by asking them to develop a project for social good.
